Freehold Fees
Up to £500,000 – £1000 + VAT*
£500,001 to £1,000,000 – £1250 + VAT*
£1,000,001 to £1,500,000 – £1500 + VAT*
Over £1,500,000 – £1800 + VAT*
Leasehold Fees
Up to £500,000 – £1500 + VAT*
£500,001 to £1,000,000 – £1750 + VAT*
Over £1,000,000 – £2000 + VAT*
Leasehold management fees, variable according to the management company, on sales and purchases.
Lease Extension – £1000 + VAT*
Additional Fees
Lifetime ISA or Help to Buy ISA – £200 + VAT*
Unregistered Properties – £250 + VAT*
Trust Deed – £500 + VAT*
ID1 form – £50 + VAT*
Independent Legal Advice – £200 + VAT*
Transfer of Equity
No mortgage – £650 + VAT* plus disbursements
With mortgage, no change in lender – £800 + VAT* plus disbursements
With mortgage, change in lender – refer to Freehold/Leasehold fees above
Sale of Leasehold or Managed Properties
If you are selling a leasehold property the landlord and/or Management Company will charge you a fee to produce a "Management Pack".
The cost will vary significantly between Landlords and can cost between:

New Builds
When buying a New Build property the Developer's solicitor will always charge an "engrossment" fee to produce the final Land Registry documents.

Disbursements
A Disbursement is a payment made by a solicitor to a third party and then claimed back from the client.
Official Copies of title – £7 each
Land Registry priority search – £7 each
Bankruptcy searches – £6 per name
Telegraphic Transfer Fee (CHAPS) – £44 (£36.67 + VAT*)
Land Registry fees – variable depending on price
Searches – dependent on requirements
Electronic ID and AML Checks – up to £14.40 per person
